If a business is to function at its optimal level, the business administrator’s skills need to go beyond basic management of information and resources. Administrators perform a key function connecting personnel and knowledge, and they need to be able to write articulately, problem solve, and manage relationships. In doing this, understanding of legal and business policies is important

This qualification develops knowledge and skills in the management of records, comprehension of written and verbal texts, business writing, problem solving, ethics, cultural awareness, self-management and self-development, project teamwork and business policies and procedures. Through its elective component, the qualification enables the learner to specialize in areas of administration such as reception, executive administration, financial literacy, relationship management, legal knowledge, communication, project administration and support, call centre administration and human resources.

This qualification is run over 12 months and includes, on average, 3 days of classroom (instructor-led) training each month.

Traditional : Training will take place using the tried-and-tested benefits of instructor-led learning.

Blended : Candidates will need to attend 2 days of face-to-face / virtual training (on average) as well as completing digital content (Online Learning) each month. During this time, learners will also be required to complete online assessments per learning programme covered.

For large groups (10 or more), training times can be arranged according to your date and time requirements, delivered on-site at your premises or through a host company.

This qualification is for individuals who are or wish to be involved in an administration function (industry or non-commercial venture/organization). It is designed for candidates who have worked in administration for many years, but have no formal qualifications or those who have recently taken up a position in administration.

  • Present information that is routinely and regularly required, as well as specific information that is requested from time-to-time
