The purpose of the programme is to provide the learners with the ability to perform well in their leadership roles within organizations. The learners will be able to promote team effectiveness and empower team members through recognising their strengths, encouraging participation in decision making and delegating tasks.

The programme will provide the leaners with skills and knowledge on how to inspire their team members to perform at their highest level.

  • The learner must be competent in Communication, Computer and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 4 or equivalent.

Build teams to achieve goals and objectives NQF 5 (6 credits) (252037)

Learning outcomes:

  • Demonstrating knowledge of and insight into the theory of teams and the importance of teams in workplace activities.
  • Applying the theory of teams to team dynamics.
  • Explaining the process of building teams.
  • Analysing the role of team leader in promoting team effectiveness.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of a team and propose ways to improve team effectiveness.
