Accredited Short Courses Online- These skills programmes are short practical SETA accredited programmes that are delivered completely online. Programmes may last between 15 to 18 hours and consist of either one or several unit standards.
A student may obtain credits towards a registered qualification through completing these skills programmes

Microsoft Excel is a powerful tool for organizing data. At present, all our accredited short courses online, are Excel courses. In these courses, students will learn basic, intermediate or advanced excel skills.
The Microsoft Excel – Beginners programme will teach students to use basic spreadsheet applications to complete calculations. After finishing the course, they’ll be able to organize information in columns and rows by using a spreadsheet application. Students will learn the necessary language skills to be able to be instructed by employers.

In the Microsoft Excel – Intermediate programme, learners will be able to perform more complex calculations. Learners will be able to communicate effectively using visual or mathematical skills in the modes of oral or written persuasion when using Excel. They will be able to use a spreadsheet application to organize information into rows and columns for a specific purpose. On course completion, students will be able to: collect, analyse, organise, and critically evaluate information by using a spreadsheet application.

In our Microsoft Excel - Advanced short course we teach students advanced formulas, how to use the lookup function and how to create pivot tables. This course provides learners with advanced abilities to work with Excel and the ability to organise and manage their activities responsibly and effectively by using a spreadsheet application.
