Introduction to Computers
Overview
The programme is intended to provide fundamental knowledge of Data Communication and Networking. Learners will be able to identify, solve problems and make decisions in relation to their current systems development environments. Learners will also be able to communicate effectively using visual, mathematical and or language skills in the modes of oral and/or written persuasion when engaging with systems development.
Furthermore, learners will be able to identify hazards, plan contingencies and identify solutions to hazardous situations. They will also be able to identify and solve problems, using critical and creative thinking, as they will understand the security aspects of using computers in modern society.
